Italian Dipping Oil
It’s the holidays, and Italian spices likely won’t go well with your holiday meal, but it might. If you want to dip your bread in the kind of dipping oil used in most Italian restaurants, this recipe should serve your purpose. Best served with crusty french bread or Focaccia.
INGREDIENTS:
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon parsley flakes, ground
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teasoon garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/3 cup olive oil
DIRECTIONS:
Combine all dry ingredients.
Pour oil onto plate, or separate onto two or three saucers for sharing.
Sprinkle spice mix over oil.
