2011 National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony Lineup December 1
On December 1st, you can watch 2011′s 89th Annual National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony live from Washington, DC on the Ellipse in President’s Park.
Beginning at 4:30pm EST, you can watch President Barack Obama with First Lady Michelle Obama and their family officially light the National Christmas Tree. The ceremony will stream live on www.thenationaltree.org
Each year, celebrity guests show up in Washington, DC to take part in the holiday festivities. And this year is no different.
The ceremony is hosted by Carson Daly and features a celebrity lineup. You can see:

- Marsha Ambrosius
- Kermit the Frog
- Santa Claus
You can also catch the nation’s tree lighting ceremony on public television. In fact, it will air throughout the month of December.
The trees will remain lit throughout the month, which means thousands of visitors can enjoy the tree in person in Washington, DC.
