NBC 2010 Holiday Programming Announced

If one of your favorite things about the holidays are the holiday programs, you should know that some of the schedule has been released for this holiday season. NBC is the first network to release details of their holiday programming for 2010.

Here are some of the holidays specials you can enjoy with your family this holiday season.

November 24, 2010 – “Merry Madagascar” (8-8:30 p.m. ET) and the premiere of the new “Kung Fu Panda Holiday Special” (8:30-9 p.m. ET) “The Biggest Loser: Where Are They Now?” special (9-11 p.m. ET).

November 25, 2010 – “The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade,” (9 a.m.-12 p.m. in each time zone) and “The National Dog Show Presented by Purina” which follows the parade for its ninth consecutive year (12-2 p.m. in all time zones). The classic original film version of “Miracle on 34th Street”  (2-4 p.m. ET),  new music special, “Taylor Swift – Speak Now” (8-9 p.m. ET) and Matt Lauer’s annual “People of the Year” special airs 9-10 p.m. (ET).

November 26, 2010 - network debut of the film “Enchanted” (9-11 p.m. ET)

November 27, 2010 – network debut of the film “Bee Movie” (8-10 p.m. ET)

November 30, 2010 – “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” (8-9 p.m. ET)

December 4, 2010 – repeats of “Merry Madagascar” (8-8:30 p.m. ET) and the premiere of the new “Kung Fu Panda Holiday Special” (8:30-9 p.m. ET)

December 24, 2010 – the classic film “It’s A Wonderful Life” (8-11 p.m. ET)

December 28, 2010 - repeat of “The Biggest Loser: Where Are They Now?” special (9-11 p.m. ET)

December 31, 2010 – “NBC’s New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly”counting down to 2011 (10-11p.m. and resuming at 11:30 p.m. ET)

January 1, 2011 – “The 122nd Tournament of Roses Parade”  live from Pasadena, California on Saturday, January 1, 2011 (11 a.m.-1 p.m. ET, check local listings).
